Destination Aviation Summer Camp

Know an aspiring aviator?

Experience Destination Aviation Summer Camps 2020 at the Aerospace Center for Excellence.

Offering both non – residential and residential camp options, Destination Aviation is located at the beautiful SUN ‘n FUN Expo campus on the southwest corner of Lakeland Linder International Airport (KLAL) in Lakeland, Florida.

Destination Aviation Summer Camp is an immersive one week experience including hands-on aerospace activities, meteorology, aircraft restoration projects, ground school, field trips and flight opportunities for campers 11 to 18 years of age. Our camps are designed to build upon themselves, starting with a basic understanding of the aerospace industry and moving towards a more in-depth and focused aviation camp. What your child learns and experiences in one camp will help them further their knowledge in the next.

Camp concludes on Friday with a Graduation Ceremony for families and everyone is welcome to take a tour of the facilities of the Aerospace Center for Excellence, including free admission into Aerospace Discovery at the Florida Air Museum.
