Lakeland, FL (May 16,2018) – Aerospace Discovery at the Florida Air Museum is pleased to announce its participation in Blue Star Museums, a program which provides free admission to our nation’s active-duty military personnel this summer—Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day 2018. Eligible participants can find the list of participating museums at arts.gov/bluestarmuseums.
Aerospace Center for Excellence Executive Director, Robb Williams was pleased with the announcement, noting that “Aerospace Discovery is excited to provide this benefit to not only the men and women who defend our nation, but also the families who demonstrate resilience and strength through continuous personal sacrifice.” Among the one-of-a-kind exhibits at Aerospace Discovery are military aircraft and memorabilia, including a Grumman F-14 Tomcat and a special exhibition from the Florida Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association.
