Sheltair

Sheltair

Sheltair is thrilled to fuel your journey to SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo as the official fuel provider. In collaboration with AvFuel, we’re donating ten cents per gallon to the Aerospace Center for Excellence to support our future aviators. Stop by our locations at BJC, DAB, DTO, ECP, JAX, LZU, OCF, and SAV for exclusive fuel discounts, and donate 10 cents of every gallon to ACE from those locations as well!

SUN ‘n FUN Pilot Welcome Center

SUN ‘n FUN invites you to stop by our Pilot Welcome Center, brought to you by Phillips 66, and located at The Island. This facility provides free wireless internet (the password will change daily, so be sure to check the desk for the new one!), flight planning facilities, and other flight-related services. Be sure to visit and take advantage of this new service while learning about the products and services Phillips 66 has to offer. Hours: 8 AM – 6:30 PM daily. Flight planning and self-serve weather services are available all day.

If you are a pilot who plans to fly to the show, please make sure to request a Pilot Registration Card upon your arrival, complete and turn it in at the Pilot Welcome tent. By turning in your card, you will receive a “I Flew To SUN ‘n FUN” cap and your name will be submitted for Pilot Giveaways.  Be sure to ask for your card from any airside registration location, including Mobile Registration.  Thanks for flying in and we hope you have a great time!

Aircraft Parking & Camping

We moved a number of aircraft parking and camping locations prior to SUN ‘n FUN 2023. These parking and camping locations will remain the same for SUN ‘n FUN 2024.

If you are flying to Lakeland (LAL), display a sign in your window indicating your tie-down area by referring to the published event NOTAM. Please use the link above to access the current NOTAM.

Your sign should have a light-colored background with dark six-inch letters that can be seen 50 feet away. NOTE: Please DO NOT USE AN ELECTRONIC TABLET FOR YOUR SIGN! The screens are polarized and will go black when viewed through most cockpit canopies.

Only aircraft built from 1970 or earlier are permitted to park or camp in the Vintage Aircraft Parking.

If you have guests driving in to join you, auto parking and ticket sales are now available on the southeast side of the convention site and in close proximity to most airside aircraft parking/camping locations on the east side of the airport.  This will provide guests the ability to purchase entry and gain immediate airside access close to the east end of the airport and near aircraft parking and camping areas. Transportation will also be provided.
